Wayne Hills Marching Band Takes Home Multiple Awards 22-23 Season

Wayne Hills High School Marching Band scored the top score of the day (89.48) at the Midland Park High School competition that took place on October 9th.

In addition to achieving the highest score, they also received awards for Best Marching, Best Music, Best Percussion, Best Guard, and Best Band Overall.

Gold Rating At Nj Music Educators State Marching Band Festival 2021

The Wayne Hills Patriot Marching Band added to their fantastic season with a Gold Rating at the New Jersey Music Educators State Marching band Festival held at Wayne Hills High School on October 23rd. Wayne Hills Band also won the Tournament of Bands Chapter 10 division 3A Championship, and the award for best music, at the Tournament of Bands Championships on Sunday, October 24th. Congratulations!

3a 1st Place And Best Overall 2021

The band capped off a busy weekend on October 10th with another 3A 1st place and a Best Overall Band Award out of 13 bands. The 78 members of the Patriot Marching Band will be hosting the New Jersey Music Educators State Marching Band Festival on October 16th and attending TOB Chapter 10 and New Jersey State Championships in late October.

Silver Rating At 2022 North Jersey School Music Association's Festival

The Wayne Hills Symphonic Band participated in the 2022 North Jersey School Music Association's "Concert band Festival" on Tuesday 3/22/22. The band earned a "SILVER RATING" from the adjudicators and some valuable feedback on how to improve! The band did well in their role of "Musical Ambassadors of Wayne Hills.

The Wayne Hills Millenia Winterguard won 1st place in the Scholastic Regional A division at the Matawan guard show on Saturday 3/26. The guard's score improved over two points and their program "Everest" is looking to reach the summit by championships.

Congratulations to the Wayne Hills Marching Band, who brought home the BEST OVERALL BAND award and a 1st place in division AA with a score of 89.83 at Midland Park.

The Wayne Hills Patriot marching band has been enjoying a successful 2021 competitive season with several 1st place finishes in Tournament of Bands, division 3A.
