District Communications

Parent/Guardian/Contact Information

Contact #1 is important in the Student Information System. This contact should be a PRIMARY guardian and the contact that the student resides with. Contact #1 will also receive communication on the following (if applicable).

  • District notices

  • Transportation

  • Special Education

  • Have access to complete the yearly Back to School Forms

A Primary Contact is defined as a Parent/Guardian who has legal custody of the child, not just physical custody.  Please make sure to indicate the Primary Contact(s) for your students on your student's record so that you can receive District Communications (Thrillshare) and Communications directly from your student's teacher(s) in OnCourse Connect (the district student information system).

Emergency Notifications

Emergency notifications, such as School Closings, Emergency Dismissals, etc., will be sent through the Thrillshare system via:

  • Calls to all Home and Mobile numbers listed

  • Text messages to Mobile numbers listed 

  • Emails to Email Addresses listed.

OnCourse Emails from Teachers

Emails from your student's teachers may be sent through OnCourse. Please follow the directions here to update parent/guardian/student contact information.

Wayne Township Public Schools does not provide phone numbers to 3rd party vendors nor do we allow telemarketers to use our district phone numbers for their Caller ID number.
