This page contains a number of Board of Education policies that may directly affect your child's
experience at school. Each year we distribute them to all families of students new to our school system, and to those
students entering middle school and high school for the first time. It is very important that you be fully aware of
these policies. We encourage you to read and discuss them with the students in your family, and if you have any
questions, contact your child's building principal.
These policies are quite detailed, but they are all designed to ensure an orderly school environment in which students
can pursue a quality education in an atmosphere which is physically and psychologically safe. By carefully
following the letter and spirit of each policy, all members of the school community will have a productive and
