The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation maintains that parents have the right to inquire about the qualifications and HQT (Highly Qualified Teacher) status of their child's teachers. The Wayne School District and each school in its system are required to notify the parents annually of this right.

The Wayne Township School System is proud to announce that all of its teachers meet the definition of Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) for the year 2009-2010. Any parent who would like to inquire about the qualifications and HQT status of their child's teachers should contact the building principal of their child's school.
