The Communications Office is responsible for the District's Public Relations. It oversees the creation/distribution of all Print Media authorized by Central Administration and the Board of Education. Primary communication publications include:

• The School District Newsletter, which is now published monthly and is available on the district web site. It combines current news and events taking place within our district, combined with a summary of the monthly Board of Education Meeting.
• The district's annual "Financial Report" for Wayne residents, which summarizes the proposed education budget that will be voted on in April.

The Communications Office has been recognized with four "Awards of Excellence" in the New Jersey School Boards Public Relations Annual Competition. The competition is open to the State's 616 public schools. An Award of Excellence represents the best example of print media design in a particular category.
